Junior Agro Sales Advisor
We are currently seeking a Junior Agro Sales Advisor to join our Agro Centre team on a temporary basis from May to August 2026. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their career in the agriculture and agribusiness sector. The successful candidate will support customers by providing product knowledge, assisting with agricultural supplies, and learning the operational and sales processes within the Agro Centre while working closely with experienced team members.
What You’ll Do:
Reporting to the Division Manager, the Junior Agro Sales Advisor will assist the Agro team with daily operations, customer service, and product support.
Key responsibilities include:
-Providing friendly, helpful service to farmers and customers at the sales counter and over the phone.
-Assisting with inventory control and product restocking.
-Supporting safe handling and storage of crop input products in accordance with AWSA & CPI standards (training provided).
-Assisting with basic customer inquiries on seed, crop protection, and general farming needs (training and support provided).
-Preparing orders, organizing product deliveries, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area.
-Supporting in-field customer service, deliveries, and scouting under supervision, depending on experience and qualifications.
-Participating in Co-op promotional events and maintaining strong community relations.
-Following safety protocols and reporting any hazards to the manager.
-Performing other general duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
-Post-secondary education related to Agriculture, Agribusiness, Environmental Science, or a related field.
-You have a strong interest in agriculture and are eager to gain hands-on experience.
-You are customer-focused, friendly, and enjoy working in a team environment.
-You are physically able to lift, carry, and move inventory products as required.
-You are organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
-A valid driver’s license is required.
-A forklift license is an asset (training provided if needed).

Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
