Description:

Pincher Creek Co-op is looking for team members to join our Hardware department! We are currently accepting applications for Permanent, Part-Time positions, with an expected start date as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will report to the Lumber & Hardware Manager and play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and support in our hardware department.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide information, assistance and service to customers and promote sales.
• Operate cash register and prepare daily cash reconciliations.
• Unpack, check price, and prepare merchandise for sale.
• Ensure that traffic areas are always kept clean and orderly.
• Stock shelves, counters and display areas with merchandise as required.
• Inform Head Clerks of special or out-of-stock merchandise requested by customers.
• Maintain constant alert against unauthorized removal of merchandise.
• Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory in accordance with Co-op’s policy.
• Sanitizing the Farm & Home Centre
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
• Experience in Hardware.
• Cashier experience is an asset.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Strong work ethic and able to work in a team environment.
• Willing to learn and advance in the Co-op.
• Take directions from supervisors and willing to work.
• Clean, Neat Appearance and have positive attitude.
• Able to work outdoors and available to work any shift.

*A COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE MAY BE CONSIDERED.
